Hybrid Care for Physical Health

Motion Tracking Sensors

In-Person Initial Assessments With a Doctor of Physical Therapy

A member’s description of their pain condition doesn’t always tell the whole story. We send a physical therapist to the member’s home for an in-person initial assessment, which allows our clinicians to investigate pain using methods that aren’t feasible through video conference alone. We’re able to extract valuable information regarding the soft tissue integrity and quality of joint motion to truly design a custom treatment plan.

User-Friendly Member App on an AKLOS Health Issued Tablet

Each member’s kit includes wearable sensors, a soft tissue tool, and a tablet with easy-to-follow exercise videos, progress tracking, and educational content.

Motion Tracking Technology

Our wearable sensor technology provides real-time biofeedback to members to ensure they’re moving with proper form. The sensors also send range of motion data and compensatory strategies to our offsite clinical team so they can re-evaluate members and adjust programs as needed.

Soft Tissue Mobilization

Amongst those living with chronic pain, the brain often turns off proper messaging to muscles surrounding a joint as a natural “guarding” method. This protection mechanism creates increased pain and irritability to movement. We’ve developed unique protocols to address this situation utilizing a soft tissue tool which the member can keep after their program ends.

Real Physical Therapists With You During Your Entire Recovery Journey

We want each member to have access to the most comprehensive level of care, which is why we only pair members with licensed physical therapists, not health coaches.
